This weekend is looking like a cracker! Loads of good value bets backed up by statistics. Here are my 10 picks for this weekend – the last two have provided 15/20 winners!
1. Bayern Win @ 1/2 vs Hoffenheim (-1 Goal Handicap @ 6/5) (German Bundesliga, 1430, Saturday)
Bayern are in top form – and will be hurting after their midweek loss to Porto. They have won 4/5 overall, and 5/5 away in the Bundesliga. Hoffenheim have lost 3/5 overall, and 2/5 at home. The last game these two faced off ended 4-0 to Bayern – hence why we like -1 Handicap.
2. Aberdeen Win @ 4/7 vs Dundee Utd (Win to Nil @ 8/5) (Scottish Premier League. 1500 KO, Saturday)
Aberdeen have won 3 and drawn 2 of their last 5 games overall, and won 4 and drawn 1 of their last 5 away games. Dundee have gone to pot recently, 4 losses in 5 games overall and lost 3/5 away from home. As for the win to nil tip – in their last 5 home games they have conceded once, while Dundee have conceded 9 in their last 3 away games. Aberdeen went on an amazing run about 6 weeks ago where they won about 10 games in a row, 8 Win to Nil’s included!
3. Rangers Win @ 1/2 vs Dumbarton (-1 Goal Handicap @ 6/5) (Scottish Championship, 1500 KO, Saturday)
Rangers have picked up recently – Haris Vuckic inspiring a great run with plenty of goals! They have won 3/5 overall, and just 1/5 away from home. However, against Dumbarton they have won 4/4 this season, scoring 11 goals and only conceding a couple. Dumbarton have lost 3/5 overall, and 2/5 at home. Three of the four wins have been 4-1, 3-0 etc
4. Sturm Graz Win @ 4/7 vs Grodig (Austrian Bundesliga, 1730 KO, Saturday)
Graz are in incredible form! Won 4/5 overall, as well as 4/5 at home – with a draw thrown into each set of form. Grodig have lost 4/5 away games and 2/5 overall. Graz have won the last 2 games 1-0 and 2-0, and also won 6-0 last season!
5. Adana Demirspor Win @ 8/11 vs Orduspor (-1 Goal Handicap @ 2/1) (Turkish PTT 1 Lig, 1300 KO Sunday)
Adana have gone through a difficult away spell, with just 1 win in 5 – with 3 wins in 5 games overall. However their home form is very good, and the team they are playing are so poor! Orduspor have lost 5/5 overall and 4/5 at home – and conceded 16 in 5 overall, and 19 in 5 at home! At one point Demirspor were running riot in this league, but even now they are likely to be promoted. This could be a great pick-me-up, and a chance to bang a few goals in against a poor side
6. Tottenham Win @ 11/8 vs Newcastle (-1 Goal Handicap @ 3/1) (Premier League, 1600 KO, Sunday)
Tottenham are in decent form – the losses they have suffered bar the Villa game last weekend were against Liverpool and Man Utd – hardly embarrassing! They have won 2/5 overall, and 2/5 away from home. Now…Newcastle. 5 losses in the last 5 games, scored just one and are probably the worst team in the league at the moment. Fabricio Coloccini returns, but to be fair that isn’t anything to write home about – the Argentina has been awful all season, and if partnered by Mike Williamson we could see a repeat of the 4-0 drubbing in December. Two of the last 3 meetings have ended 4-0. -1 goal amazing value @ 3/1!
7. Zenit Win @ 11/10 vs Kuban Krasnodar (Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 13/10) (Russian Premier League, 1630 KO, Sunday)
Zenit are unbeaten in 5 overall, with 3 wins and a couple of draws. Away from home, 3 wins in 5. Kuban have lost 3/5 overall and 2/5 at home. The last two games ended 4-1 and 1-0, and even with Hulk potentially out as he missed the 2-1 loss to Sevilla, they have enough quality in the likes of Rondon, Witsel and more!
8. Gimnastic Win @ 5/4 vs Eldense (Spanish Segunda: Group 3, 1700 KO, Sunday)
Gimnastic are running away with their Segunda division. 4 wins in the last 5 games, as well as 3 wins in 5 away games. In their last 5 games and 4 wins – all have been to nil! Eldense have lost 3/5 both overall and at home, as well as a 2-0 loss to Gimnastic earlier this season.
9. Bury Win @ 6/5 vs Portsmouth (English League 2, 1500 KO, Saturday)
Bury are the top form team in League 2 – 4 wins from 5 overall and 5 wins from 5 away, all to nil! Portsmouth have lost 3/5 overall, but just 1/5 home games – with two draws and 2 wins against lower teams. Bury won the previous meeting 3-0, and in current form…great odds!
10. Grimsby Win @ Evens vs Southport (English Conference, 1500 KO, Saturday)
Finally we have Grimsby, who have possibly shot themselves in the foot when they dropped points last weekend. They have secured a playoff place, but will want to finish 2nd to get a better draw against the 5th placed team rather than the 4th placed side. They have won 3/5 overall and 4/5 away from home. Southport have lost 4/5 overall and 2/5 at home, with a couple of draws and just one win.
Tips should be up a little later on tonight – with a couple of great looking accumulators!
Good luck for tonight,
